SATC Round Robin Match Lothians versus Borders 8th June 2023

The Executive and players of the Lothians Golf Association wish to thank the club for hosting the above match on 4 June 2023. The course was presented in excellent condition and the players from both sides commented on this.

Please pass our thanks to the Head Greenkeeper and his staff for the manner in which they worked to provide this for us.

The catering and service at the bar was also excellent. Everything was provided in a timely manner which allowed the matches to go to schedule. Please pass on our thanks to everyone at Parsley & Thyme for their contribution to a great day.

And finally, to the Club and the members who kindly allowed this match to be played at your facility. I am sure everyone enjoyed the magnificent views and the experience of your course and Clubhouse. Without the support of Clubs and their members the Lothians would struggle to get these matches and our competitions played and for this we offer our thanks.

I suppose these things are always better when we get the required result. This has now set up the Lothians for their final match in the group against Stirlingshire with two wins under our belt already. A special mention to home player Barrie Lewis who managed to secure two points for the team. A great day all round.

The Association wish you all a very successful season and trust that you continue to thrive as a club and we look forward to a time where we might be able to call upon you again for such an occasion.

Kindest Regards

Yours sincerely

David B. Doig
